Change Field Type

When editing or optimizing forms, field types can be changed. It means to change the original field type to another functionally similar field type, while retaining the existing data (some field types are not reversible after being changed).

How to change

On the editing page, select the field and click [Change type] in the upper right corner to select the target type.

Tip: After changing, if the field content does not match the format of the new field, the original content will also be displayed, but the field content must match the format of the new field when editing, otherwise it cannot be saved.

Which fields can be converted

  • Reversible field conversion

    The following are the fields that can be converted. The conversion is reversible.

Fields such as email, telephone, ID number, etc. cannot be converted to each other, but they can be converted to text fields first and then to other fields.

  • Irreversible field conversion

    The conversion of the following fields is irreversible.
